CyberDay.lu 2018 was the first event of that kind. It gathered more than 150 people around the issues of technical aspects of a cyber-attack and risks related to information security.

In 2018, the conference – followed by a round-table with speakers – focused on 5 main presentations:

  • “Personal data breach, do not expect, be prepared!” by Sandrine Munoz, University of Luxembourg
  • “Disassembling an advanced and targeted attack” by Thierry Degeling, GOVCERT.LU
  • Presentation of the Love Stories 4.0 awareness campaign, by Deborah Plein, BEE SECURE
  • “But I’m not a target!!!” by Christian Hutter, University of Luxembourg
  • “Insider Threads” by Michael Hamm, CIRCL

In parallel, two workshop sessions were led by Matthieu Farcot, SECURITYMADEIN.LU: 

  • “The king has no clothes (and his hands are too small to play Fortnite)” 
  • “Internet of (stupid) things – Why Darwin theory can be wrong”

Main figures
