CyberDay.lu 2018 was the first event of that kind. It gathered more than 150 people around the issues of technical aspects of a cyber-attack and risks related to information security.

In 2018, the conference – followed by a round-table with speakers – focused on 5 main presentations:

- Presentation of the Love Stories 4.0 awareness campaign, by Deborah Plein, BEE SECURE

- “Insider Threads” by Michael Hamm, CIRCL
In parallel, two workshop sessions were led by Matthieu Farcot, SECURITYMADEIN.LU:
- “The king has no clothes (and his hands are too small to play Fortnite)”
- “Internet of (stupid) things – Why Darwin theory can be wrong”
