Chris Pinchen, Trainer at BEE-SECURE

An expert in Internet security, new information technologies and in Internet privacy concerns, Chris Pinchen is a trainer and independent worker for BEE-SECURE. There, he developed various educational material to raise citizens’ awareness for a safe and responsible use of both the Internet and new media.

Michaël Hamm, Operator and analyst at Computer Incident Response Center Luxembourg (CIRCL), SECURITYMADEIN.LU

Michael Hamm has worked for more than 10 years as Ingénieur-Sécurité in the field of classical Computer and Network Security (Firewall, VPN, AntiVirus) at the research center “CRP Henri Tudor” in Luxembourg. Since 2010, he has worked as an operator and analyst at CIRCL – Computer Incident Response Center Luxembourg where he is working on forensic examinations and incident response. 

Christian Hutter, Chief Information Security Officer at the University of Luxembourg

Since the beginning of his carrier 25 years ago, Christian Hutter has been involved into various IT projects focusing on systems, networks and security. In 2016 he has been appointed as Chief Information Security Officer by the University of Luxembourg.

Sandrine Munoz, Data Protection Officer at the University of Luxembourg

Sandrine Munoz is the Data Protection Officer of the University of Luxembourg since September 2017. This position leads her to examine various issues and questions in relation with Data Protection Regulation for very different purposes such as administrative, research or academic in different areas (biomedical, humanities, computing science…). She holds a PhD in European and French law focused on digital issues, from the University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis (South of France).

Guillaume-Jean Herbiet, System engineer at RESTENA Foundation

Guillaume-Jean Herbiet holds an engineering degree from CentraleSupélec (France), a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology (USA) and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Luxembourg. After contributing to the development of Wi-Fi networks across the country, he is now devoted to ensuring the availability and security of .lu domain names.

Thierry Degeling, Security Analyst at GOVCERT.LU

Thierry Degeling has been a security analyst with GOVCERT.LU since 2017 where he is working both in incident response and network forensics. He is also a member of the Luxembourgish humanitarian intervention team which re-establishes communication after disasters.
